What
is going on with him?
Kyrie Irving is an
incredibly talented basketball player, as for Kyrie’s head we are often unsure
of the location. Yes, his head is attached
to his body, but this very smart guy fails to use his brain in the same manner
as most of us can we say he might be a wee bit entitled. The first we heard his coach Steve Nash
indicated he didn’t have any idea where Irving was, it was reported Irving was
working out some “personal issues.”
Okay I believe most of
us are okay with that not aware of the details.
Then came news Irving was spotted on a Zoom call involving a NYC
district attorney candidate. To compound
the story, he was listed as “Kai Irving” on the screen, this incident occurred
prior to a Nets-Nuggets game in which Irving failed to play. Now if he is injured any well thinking person
would say okay however he continues his unpredictable moves on and off the
court.
Below
is the earlier story
As indicated often the
news moves faster than our ability to publish.
That is the case with the James Harden story, rather than just trash it
I decided to go ahead and publish it.
The trade to the Nets is strange to me, on the surface it appears
unworkable. We have Kyrie Irving at one
guard and James Harden at the other along with Kevin Durant in the
frontcourt. What can go wrong with this
assembly of talent? This trade will be
further analyzed in more detail later.
It’s
written all over your face
In 1990 the R&B
group Rude Boys had a hit tune titled “It’s written all over your face.” We might make the same statement for the
Rockets disgruntled guard James Harden.
It’s evident by Harden’s mannerisms and facial expressions on the court
he wants to be any place other than H-Town.
Harden said, “I love this city.
I’ve literally done everything I can.
This situation is crazy. I don’t
think it can be fixed.” He reminded
us again he wants Philly, Boston, Denver, Portland, or Toronto.
When, please note I
didn’t write IF he is traded it’s not going to be the Nuggets or Blazers. No way are the Rockets going to trade Harden
to a Western Conference foe. An unanswered
question for now who could the Celtics or Raptors give up allowing them to
acquire the talented but mercurial guard? Normally the NBA Trade Deadline is in
February, due to the change in the NBA season in 2021 it’s March 25. A trade could occur as soon as today however be
prepared to see “The Beard” in some jersey other than the Rockets.
This one is distinctive
I’ve made it clear on
most occasions I pass on contests determining “who is the best.” Most times we might see a comparison between
a Michael Jordan to a LeBron James, these two played in different eras. Basketball Network provided us
a question each of us can respond, “Who, in your opinion is the best PF in
NBA History.” In this instance we
have a list of athletes who generally played in the same era to compare, the
names are not arranged in any order on my part, what do you think?
Kevin Garnett
Dirk Nowitzki
Tim Duncan
Karl Malone
